ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Set to the striking, exuberant composition Concerto Fantasy for Two Timpanists and Orchestra by modern composer Philip Glass, choreographer Stephen Mills’ LIMINAL GLAM had its world premiere in 2008, and then appeared again as a part of Mills’ evening of works known as THE GLASS PROJECT. LIMINAL GLAM was also a part of Ballet Austin’s 14-city tour of the People’s Republic of China in 2016. The work is filled with powerful, contemporary movement in stellar, futuristic costumes that compliment the driving Glass score.
